Boeing Assembly Plant Everett, WA near Seattle

Visit the largest building in the world (by volume) with friends!!

    Ticket deadline February 13th

WHAT: Boeing Tour at the Everett Plant

WHERE: 8415 Paine Field Blvd, Mukilteo, WA 98275  The tour will begin in Mukilteo. This is where we will park and meet our guide. We will then be bused to the Everett Plant.

WHEN: Tuesday, March 26, 10:30am-12:00pm. (Plan to arrive early by 10:00. We have been told that tours leave on time, with or without ticket holding attendees! There is no "meeting up" during the tour, if we miss the bus, we miss the tour!)

WHO: Anyone 4' or taller. We are told there are NO exceptions. From the site: "Much of the tour is conducted from balconies, with 4-foot railings, inside the factory. If your child can’t see over the rail, they won’t enjoy the tour and it could be dangerous to lift them to see. Visitors may not carry babies on the tour."

TICKET FEE: $15 for children 15 and under (over 4' tall), $25 for 16+ and adults.

DEADLINE: February 7, 2019  In order to reserve tickets for our group to tour together, we must pre-order and pre-pay for tickets.

    More information:

The Future of Flight Aviation Center & Boeing Tour is one of Seattle's most-loved, premier attractions. Located just 25 miles north of Seattle, the Boeing Tour is a one-of-a kind opportunity to view 747, 767, 777, and 787 Dreamliners on the assembly line before they take to the sky.

The Boeing Factory Tour is a visit inside a working assembly plant, which can be noisy and active depending on the day and time. Employees on the Everett site, work 5 days a week, 3 shifts a day.

Each tour is approximately 90 minutes long and includes fascinating facts about Boeing and the planes that bear its name.

Welcome to the Future of Flight Aviation Center & Boeing Tour. Before you purchase tickets, please read the following information:

Buy tickets early: Tickets for the Boeing Tour sell out quickly. To ensure that you are able to visit the Future of Flight Aviation Center & Boeing Tour on the day and time that work best for you, it is advisable to book your tickets ahead of time. Tickets can be purchased at the door with no guarantee of tour availability (debit and credit cards only, no cash).

On the Boeing Tour, you will:

    • Walk up and down two steep flights of stairs at each end of the factory and walk through two large tunnels, the first 0.3 miles (0.5 km) round trip, the second shorter.
    • Ride two freight elevators to balconies overlooking the Boeing factory floor.
    • Special accommodations can be made for wheelchairs or physically challenged guests with advance notice. Please advise us if you or someone in your party is confined to a wheelchair.
    • Service animals are allowed in all public areas of the Future of Flight Aviation Center and on the Boeing Tour.
    • ASL (American Sign Language) is available for all Boeing tours and requires ticket purchase and at least two weeks’ advance notice. This can be booked through the call center at 1-800-464-1476.

    • 11:00 AM - 1:30 PM
    • 2300 Arboretum Drive E, Seattle, 98112

     UW Botanic Gardens‐Washington Park Arboretum

    near University of Washington

The Washington Park Arboretum holds a world class collection of woody plants that can be explored independently, through self-guided tours, arranged tours, or through the many classes and activities hosted at the site. All parts of the Washington Park Arboretum, with the exception of the Japanese Garden, are open to the public and are free of charge. The Graham Visitors Center has maps, restrooms, staff and Arboretum Foundation offices, a gift shop and rental venue. All year round you’ll find something of interest along the trails that wind through 230 acres of gardens, natural areas and wetlands.

We will be experiencing a self-guided tour called: Marsh Madness: Explore the shores of Lake Washington through scavenger hunts, games and above and below water exploration. Length of activities are about 90-120 minutes.

Cost for the event is $2.00 per child. Maximum, $7.00 per family. Meet at the Graham Visitor Center. Pay cash to Elizabeth Grace at the Arboretum.

Sign up so we know who to look for.

Email or text if you have questions:

    Elizabeth Grace, egracegrace@gmail.com or 425-890-6882

After our self-guided tour we can eat our picnic lunches somewhere near the Graham visitor center.

An Arboretum is like a tree museum. It has trees and plants from all over the world so that scientists, college students, gardeners and young students like you can learn about trees and plants. The word Arboretum is a Latin word. Translated to English it means tree place. Arbor = Tree and Etum = Place.

There are a few extra rules just for the UW Botanic Gardens to keep you and all of the plants safe.

    • Please stay together! The UW Botanic Gardens is 320 acres, more than 240 football fields! That is why it is important to stay together. If you should become lost, STAY WHERE YOU ARE! Your group will come back for you and if you move, it will be harder to find you.
    •  Please gently touch plants. Leaves, flowers, seeds, bark, branches and roots are very interesting and have such different textures. While you are in the UW Botanic Gardens, we ask that you are gentle with our plants and trees. Please do NOT pick anything from a plant or tree and please do NOT climb trees.
    • Please walk on paths and grass. We have paths of gravel and lots of areas with grass. These are perfect places for your feet. Plant beds (areas where plants are growing), plants and ponds are NOT good places for your feet to be. We need to do our best to protect our plants and we know you will help us do that.
    • HAVE FUN! The best way to learn and study is to have a great attitude and a super time. Just like being prepared for the weather. Be prepared to walk, have a good time, share the knowledge you have and learn so much!
    • Please remind students to wear comfortable close-toed shoes, layers, and rain gear or sun-appropriate clothing (hats/ sunblock).
